I’m running to become Slough’s MP because this town needs new and independent leadership from practical leaders who have integrity and can deliver new energy and fresh ideas. Leaders who are always on the side of democracy, not just when it’s politically convenient.

I’m running against established political parties and career politicians who have listened to the whims of corporate donors and foreign lobbies rather than the needs and concerns of their constituents. They are more interested in maintaining their own power than fighting for the issues that matter and representing the people that matter – you.

Locally, they’ve contributed to a culture of decline and on a national level they have divided us against each other, using divisive rhetoric and policies.

People in Slough are desperate for change. They want Britain to reassess it’s role in the ongoing Genocide in Gaza, build more affordable housing, make our streets safer, provide opportunities for local businesses and young people and above all elect representatives who are willing to do whatever it takes to protect and codify human rights for people here and abroad.

Not just here, but around the country, I truly believe that the wave of support for independent candidates reflect a deep distrust and unease with the status quo.

It’s time for a new approach. A new MP to make a better case for our values. An MP who truly represents Slough’s diverse community.
